The SKYSPY device has significant instant capabilities, as well as potential applications that will revolutionize law enforcement agencies, insurance agencies, other businesses, and individual consumers. The device has recently been tested through a cooperative effort with Progressive Insurance and police agencies in the state of Ohio. In just a few months, the Cleveland City Police Department has made multiple arrests, while using only one SKYSPY equipped bait car, with 100% vehicle recovery. The department has now added two more units (12/04/02). In addition, the Ohio State Highway Patrol has installed three units (12/05/02). Also, units purchased by Progressive Insurance are currently being installed in Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Lorain County, Ohio, for use in additional bait cars. Furthermore, upon request from law enforcement officials, SKYSPY has delivered a working prototype of a “slap-on” portable unit for use as a tracking-only device.
